Hi Friends, This weeks lesson covers the solo section of "Take a Little Walk with Me" which is actually a very cool background part that accompanies Otis Spann's solo on the original recording. It's so cool in fact I've used it in a trio setting as an intro to a solo. It's just a very cool harmonized rhythm part. I show how Robert JR does it then I show you things I have added to it to make it even more harmonically interesting. It's a very fun and cool sounding two note riff that is sort of a harmonized basic blues rhythm. I think you'll have fun with this one.
Enjoy! Duke
