Alright Sonic Junction - Rick Estrin here.
I'm back again, and this time I've got the 2nd half of the first verse in the middle section of the piece, "You Don't Love Me That Way". This week we've got some big, wide open chords - On the surface there's nothing difficult about playing them, but you don't want to approach them in a lackadaisical way. They should be played big, full and clear. They need to be placed right in the pocket, and they need to be cut off crisply, with confidence. This lesson also contains some real characteristic John Lee Williamson octave and chord work. When you're practicing this week's lesson, focus on feeling that groove as deeply as you can.
Stay safe and healthy, and I'll see you again next week.
Rick
