Hope all goes well with the surgery! I've been listening to Barney Kessel all day (his recordings with Julie London), so I'm excited about Paul showing us some of his style. And I'm loving Mike's lessons too.

But I wanted to echo Steve's message and just say a big THANKS - I'm really loving how SJ has opened up my playing. I'm far more confident and (i hope) tasteful in what I'm playing these days. Couldn't have done it without you - of course I know there's no such thing as the finished article, but I'm happy knowing what I do and reaching for what i don't.

ps picked up a Gretsch White Falcon the other day. A real beauty!
