Have you considered having your own ap? It would be nice to have sonic junction one click away.

I have been practicing mixolydian mode against single chords. G against a g7 chord. C against a C7 chord and so on. The g mixolydian starting on A follow an A minor patten. Fifth fret the g mixolyian notes follow the A minor note pattern, same notes In that position. So if you play a G 7 chord, I can play an A minor pattern at the fifth fret and I am playing g mixolydian notes. Even though they are same notes in the different positions just different starting notes, I detect a difference in tone and feel. How much does the starting note and ending note effect improvisation? My goal is to know the mixolyian notes for a particular chord any where on the neck, but have notice sometimes they sound great and sometimes they don’t. Am I over complicating this process?

Duke,  I'm a new member and I would realy love to see a lesson on "I will always be in love with you."  (I think that's the title...) In any case, I know you performed this song as a blues and it's great...Love to see the lesson... Thanks . Anthony De Cicco

Hi Paul -- we found that the great majority of people were taking their lessons via the website and this trend was increasing as connection speed increased etc. -- so we discontinued the App.

What's up with the Apple Store App?  Not there anymore. Just bought an iPad and can't download sonicjunction.

Most streaming programs won't work outside of US for legal reasons.  Try subscribing to nordvpn.com which will route you through a US based server, making your computer think you are home.  I use it all the time when abroad so I can watch netflix etc.

Hi Chris!

Any chance that you'll be doing a lesson for "Fair to Partly Cloudy"? Or do you have sheets/tabs for it that you can share?

Thanks!

John

OK, these are not the most flattering pictures of me personally, but you can see how we attached the ATM350 using an alligator clip (wrapped in tape so that we didn't harm the guitar's finish) in the first picture and looped it around the strap button. In the second picture you can see the two cables coming off of the guitar. The belt pack that you see me wearing is for my in ear monitors. Hope that helps!

Hi JiMyeong,

With my current setup using the LR Baggs and the Mills mic, both signals are carried out of the guitar via one stereo TRS cable and stereo jack. I had a great tech who was able to wire this up for me. But when I was using the K&K and the ATM350 I had a single mono TS cable for the pickup coming out of the end pin jack and we just basically clipped the ATM 350 into the soundhole and wrapped it around the strap button on the neck to lock it and then across the back of the guitar. So there were 2 cables coming off of the guitar. I'll see if I can find a picture from that era to better show you what i mean!

Why can't I download the iPhone App in Taiwan? I'm a USA citizen traveling here for the next 2 years and the AppStore says my region is not supported..

Critter - we sure this snippet of tab is correct, from The Likes of Me? It looks and sounds like in that 2nd measure, you're  pulling off the "C" on the 5th string twice rather than going 3-4-0-0-3-4 on the 4th string. Could be mis-hearing it though!

Oh! This is what I was looking for. I'm trying to resurrect this story again. Sorry...

From the top, you said using both L.R. and ATM350, so are there two holes in the end pin of the guitar?!

I get so stressed every time when i'm in stage of bluegrass. I think this will help. Thank you Critter.

The lessons have been great and helping me improve my fundimantals and expand my knowledge of playing to the strengths of the guitar. ‘‘Tis the season and hoping to put about another carol.

Great suggestion! I've suggested Ridge Road Gravel and Streets of London earlier. I think both are in the queue, I really hope so! :D
Beautiful tune. I love hearing Courtney Hartman playing this song: https://youtu.be/O6d1VmdePg8

Kindest regards Terry

Corey,

I am new to this site.  Have been playing slide for a couple of years and have a couple of National Steel resonator guitars.  I use finger picks and was wondering what your oppinion is on using finger picks or not using them?

Cheers

Charlie

Looks like Audio Hijack is an IOS app.  I found Total Recorder from High Criteria software, for Windows.  Installed it on Win 10 and set it up in  about 20 minutes.  Works perfectly, saves to mp3.

Thanks!
