Jerry, thank you for your inspiration.
Hey Paul,
Thanks!
Love the way Jerry & Rick play this one, here's my effort with my new Blue Yeti Mic. :-)
P.S.
Each chorus took many takes, but I guess the upside is multiple mistakes equals a lot of Reps!
Well done Mike, you sound great!
That Got Me In The Christmas Spirit!
Merry Christmas.
I was finally able to get a grasp on vibrato because of Disc 2 of your "Blues Harmonica Masterclass"
I ordered the set by phone from you way back when. :-)
Thanks Once Again.
My go at "Don't Get Around Much Anymore". Ain't that the truth!
Happy B Day BTW. Thanks for Teaching These Songs!
Working on the Intro. Playing a slow tune & staying relaxed ain't easy yet.
Oh well, I guess that's why we're here to absorb & learn. [:-)
@ Jerry,
I hear the timing issue at the times you stated, thanks for bringing that to my attention.
I'll also focus on catching some of the adjacent hole too.
Thanks, your feedback is very helpful!
I feel Jerrys forcing us to use our ears "some" has helped a great deal. I think I was able to tab most of the intro accurately! But we'll see when he breaks down the song. It's great feedback to see how close you can get.
Thanks for the push Sir.
After much tabbing and splicing, here's my effort at Jerry & Ricks example of "Key to the Highway".
Ricky is a brass man, nice sound.
Thank you again.
Slide guitar and harp, what a sound!
Thanks again for showing both your hands Rick.
My buddy who plays guitar has starting doing some of these songs with me!
He's not a heavy blues guitarist so it's very helpful when he can see what your hands are doing.
Thanks again King!
My go at the Intro of "Key to the Highway".
I have a bad habit of not using Hand Wahs when I practice.
Here's two Clips one with & one without Hand Wahs
Intro Without Hand Wahs
Intro Wtih Hand Wahs
I've always wanted to learn this one. :-)
Great learning tool Rick.
Good Stuff, LearningtheHarp.
Keep the posts coming!
Thanks, Learningtheharp
I look forward to your next playing clip also.
Working on the Intro
@ Jerry Portnoy
I hear those spots now that you brought them to my attention.
I'll work on those with one continuous breath
Thank you
